Italics Magazine was born less than two years ago in Rome, from the idea of two friends who believed that Italy was lacking a complete, in-depth, across-the-board source of information in English. On the tip of the town, the Aragonese Castle stands out magnificently: it hosts the Archaeological Museum of the Phlegraean Fields, in which some marvels caught from the water have found a new home. Indeed, its waters were enclosed in December 1939, creating an artificial lake with a 90-meter high dam and a hydroelectric plant, which is also connected to the nearby Lake Turano. It is home to the trulli, cone-shaped white buildings that look like houses straight out of a fairytale. The lack of a main road and high rise resorts usually leaves this little hidden beach deserted.
